China’s Ministry of Commerce announced a list of Top Ten Leading Outsourcing Enterprises and 100 Growing Enterprises in China at the Second Annual China International Service Outsourcing Cooperation Conference, held in Nanjing on June 23 and 24, 2009.
The top 10 outsourcing companies include: Neusoft, VanceInfo, Hisoft, Dalian Hi-Think Computer, StarSoftComm, Beyondsoft, Inspur, ICSS, CITIC and WuXi AppTec. In addition, Accenture, IBM, NEC, HP and Genpact have also become the top five global service providers in China.
According to the ministry, revenue from Chinese outsourcing companies in 2008 grew 34% year over year to $1.5 billion. The top ten companies produced almost one third of that revenue. The top 10 enterprises mainly distributes in the fields of health, service manufacturing, government, education and finance. The valuating standard for 100 growing enterprises is with turnover of more than USD3m. Calculated by turnover, the 100 enterprises distribute in eight areas, and the top three areas are IT service, finance and healthcare.
